Where are you from and where do you currently live?

I’m from Woodbine, MD and live in Laguna Beach, CA now.

Why did you start teaching fitness?

I grew up playing sports and always had a passion for working out. I love being a leader & coach which eventually led me to becoming a fitness instructor.

Who is your favorite artist to workout to? 


What is your favorite workout to do and why?

I love going for a run outside. There's something soothing about it to me just listening to music alone, clearing my head, and usually I'm fortunate enough to be watching a beautiful California sunset while running.

Can you share a custom workout recommendation?

10 Minute Ab Burner: Do these 5 core exercises each for 1 minute and then repeat them to make it a 10 minute workout.

  1. High plank hold for 30 secs then transition onto forearms for 30 secs
  2. Side plank - 30 secs on the right and 30 secs on the left
  3. Mountain climbers
  4. Flip over and put your feet in the air to perform toe touches (can alternate right hand to the outside of the left foot & reverse)
  5. Laying on back drag & digs - hands under your butt, point your toes and straighten your legs then bring in your knees toward your stomach and dig them toward the ground then drag them out to the straight leg starting position without letting your legs touch the ground.

What is your favorite exercise to do at the gym?

Run on the treadmill.

What are the five essentials you keep in your gym bag?

Airpods, arm band, microfiber black towel, hair tie, and of course a reusable water bottle.

What are your favorite pieces of workout clothing?

I LOVE my TIEM cycling shoes! I also love Carbon 38's Takara Shine leggings and Nike sports bras!

What is your favorite healthy snack?

Ants on a log aka celery with peanut butter and raisins on top. Yum!

What do you do in your free time?

I started my own company selling sympathy & wellness gift boxes called givegoodgrief. I spend most of my spare time working on building my business.

If you weren't a fitness professional, what would your dream job be?

Owning my own company (something I'm currently doing, but it's not quite full time yet).
